Overview: During the first two days, the workshop will include a number of plenary scientific presentations, splinter meetings on specific issues, and plenary session summarizing the outcome of these splinter meetings, with the results including a draft roadmap. The third day is devoted to a summary of the first tow days and the finalization of the workshop output, i.e. the roadmap and a declaration. This part will include the presentation and discussion of the draft roadmap; and the presentation and endorsement of a concluding statement geared towards the GEO Plenary.
