[11 September 2010] US-GEO Report on Earth observation needs emphasizes the importance of gravity, surface deformations, and water issues: US-GEO has released its national report on Earth observations, which identifies 17 critical Earth system parameters that must be observed from space. Among them are gravity, soil moisture, and deformations. These parameters are of direct relevance to the IGCP 565 project.
